Like a House on Fire!
God's desire and design for relationships
2 Corinthians 5:14-21

The expression "to get on as like a house on fire" means to have a close and good relationship with others immediately.  That is to say, we develop great relationships not only well but very quickly, actively, energetically and vigorously.  That is what God wants for our relationships.  Our very first core value at WBC is one that treasures our growing into loving relationships with God and others.

That is exactly what the Bible talks about when it tells us God wants us to be reconciled to Him and to others through Jesus Christ.  We were created to live in harmony with both Him and others but as we all know, life can get pretty messy and our interactions can go sour quickly!  So how do we navigate our relationship with God, with ourselves and with all others?  How can we make sure that we are being encouraged and flourishing in our relationships at all times?

Join us as we take a journey into the wonderful and exciting world of relating in wholesome, authentic and everlasting relationships with God and everyone else in our lives.  That way our own 'house' and the 'house of God' (read: church) can be consumed and burn with a passion to see our interactions have the joy, excitement and new life that only Jesus Christ offers.
