Terry and Pat met at Providence Bible College and felt a deep sense of call to marriage and ministry together. Terry served as a summer student minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Eagle River, and eventually responded to their call to be their first full time pastor, where they served from 1982-1987. After Terry completed his M. Div. at Acadia, the Jankes moved to Thunder Bay, ON, to pastor First Baptist Church. Pat worked as an elementary school teacher and for 10 years taught music to young children.
Terry likes sports, carpentry and playing guitar. Patricia loves all things musical, enjoys cross-country skiing, swimming and quilting.
The Jankes' have three teenagers - Emily, Joel, and Jonathan.
